Review : Books -Indigo-

Indigo adalah satu buku yang membuat aku berniat mampir ke perpustakaan pusat meski sampai sekarang belum sempat, biasanya di sana cuma numpang ngecharge laptop aja #plak. Di bawah ini adalah review buku Indigo, yang juga merupakan tugas writing 1. :)

Indigo is a book written by Alice Hoffman. One of my friends borrowed it from the library, and I took an instant liking with its cover. I asked her to lend the book to me for a day. After I got her agreement, I took it home. I was drawn to it, and I could not wait to turn the pages because the story is simply wonderful.

The story told about a thirteen years old girl whose hatred grew to her hometown after her mother passed away. His father cared about her no more and an annoying woman tried to win his father's heart. Her dream was to leave her hometown and became a successful dancer like her mother. Martha, the girl's name, had two close friends. They were Eli and Trevor McGill. Both of them were considered as weirdos by the whole town, but Martha did not care about that because the brothers had the same dream with her, to leave their hometown. One day, Martha, Eli, and Trevor decided to runaway together from their hometown, but something happened in the middle their runaway.

I know that Indigo is for children, but I find it is worth the read. I hope I can find this type of book more often.
